Thankfully, I'm now sure it's Saturday. My widget says so. Yay widget! Yay, Saturday!
News of note: we have furniture. We spent a good portion of last night arranging it, and buying a bigger rug to put under hubby's office area. I had to cut the edge off the rug we bought (it was too big) and I did feel a little silly about spending $90 on an area rug to put over a rug, then having to mangle it, but then I remembered the giant black mark his shoes/chair left in the bedroom when we had to temporarily move his office upstairs. In just, what, 6 months? I can't get the carpet clean. Luckily, the bed covers the worst of it. Anyway, so it's worth it and it really defines the area, anyway. We still need to assemble the CD holder and move out the old stuff, then haul down the books and CDs. That may not all happen this weekend. In fact, I know it won't all happen this weekend because, as always, there's too much to do and too little time. But eventually there will be pictures! Yay!

More news of note: after recently talking about my lack of grey hair (surprising, actually, since my mom's had grey hair since her 20s), I'm pretty sure I found one yesterday. It's no longer attached to my head, so I'll have to see if I get another one. It was in the bangs area, and, unfortunately, it didn't appear to be the sort of grey hair I wanted. Not entirely, anyway. You see, I have zero problem with having white hair. I had it once when I was 17 and had to use a color-stripper on my hair after accidentally turning it a lovely shade of forest green. It was pretty, actually. I'm not talking about platinum over-processed bleach blond - I mean it was white. I liked it, and I'd like it if my hair would turn all white-grey and I could highlight it with streaks of colors as the mood hit me. Hot pink... violet... black or blue, even. Though I doubt I'll go completely white fast enough to still pull that off. My mom has a lot of grey hair, but isn't completely there. So, anyway, since the color isn't my problem, you ask, what is? It's the texture. I wanted, basically, for my hair to just lose its color. But grey hair can also get thicker and wiry... which this one seemed to be. And here's the trouble with that. My hair already falls into the 'thick' category. But it's not that my hair is thick - it's actually fairly fine - it's that I have a metric ton of it. Now, take allllllll those fine little hairs all over my head and double their thickness. Now what do you have? I'm gonna look like Alice from Dilbert! O.o I don't need more volume, really, really, really I don't. I guess only time will tell!
I have a zillion journal entries I've wanted to comment on that I haven't gotten around to (not been much in the writing mood) so hopefully I'll get that done here real soon. For now, I really have to start some laundry and get cleaning... something. I'd like my office to get at least as clean as my craft room, tehn I'd like to clean them both up some more!
