Got my Ravelry invite - for those of you who are on there, I'm Smeddley (of course!). It looks awesome, sadly, I probably won't be able to do much until NaNo and the basement are finished.

Speak of the basement, I could finish the walls today if I got off my butt and worked. And I need to. I told myself that if I did finish it, I could order more duckies from OTC - which means more awesome Christmas presents for you! So virtual kicks in the butt and mental cheering are appreciated, as well as castigation if I am forced to report I didn't accomplish anything.

First off, a tiny bit of procrastination while I make breakfast and wait for the pain killers to kick in... Is it possible to 'sand like a penguin'?

The only thing left to sand are the spots where I had to add more mud, and they're still wet. We also bought a shop vac to try to clean up the mess. That'll be tomorrow's job. Right now I'm going to take my poor tired self to bed, try not to dwell on how far behind I am on NaNo, and watch some Scrubs (while sipping a nice warm cup of tea). Sure, I really should shift Mount Laundry down to the laundry room and get to work on it, but oh my god I am too exhausted.
