They didn't have my game. I can order on-line and it'll ship in 1-2 weeks. Which I will probably do, and there were two other games I thought about picking up to tide me over - one from the History Channel (of all places!) and another similiar one from those *%^@ards that brought me Bejeweled and Peggle. Haven't they sucked away enough of my life?!

But I still have some games I need to play (and some I probably need to just get rid of) so I should just order the one off the internet and do something productive while I wait for it to show up. Right? HAHAHAHAHAHA! *ahem* Right.

Plus I'd already indulged in a little retail therapy to soothe myself after the disappointment of not getting the game. Shoes. *nods* I've become... a girl. And not just any shoes, oh, no, the 'who lowered the world and why can I now reach the upper shelf' kinda shoes. These are a first for me, though, because the toes are on a wee bit of a platform. It's kinda weird walking in them, but on the up side, I can scooch my car seat back and I now might not die if the airbag deploys.

New episode of Top Gear last night made me want a new car again. Luckily, nothiing I could afford!

Ooh, shoes! I miss pretty shoes. By the time it's warm enough to wear any of my heels outside, I'll be too big to want to. :(

Well, if it's anything like console games, they may SAY it comes out on Tuesday, but the actual in-store date isn't until Wednesday on most games.

Today was a cranky day for me too. Well, kind of down and mopey. I'm going to go to Whole Foods and see if they have any green tea powder so I can make my own green tea frappuccinos! :)

I'll cross my fingers for you on the green tea powder. I've looked the few places I've gone, but haven't seen it anywhere. Whole Foods is probably your best bet.
