It's happened again. I saw a piggy bank I liked, and even told my hubby about it (a perfect, cheap Valentine's Day gift!) and he even went to buy it yesterday... only to find out that they no longer had them, and what's more, the store was going out of business. Technically, it's being replaced. They're replacing my Dillons with a Price Chopper.

I hate Price Choppers. I've never shopped at one regularly. I think they have a cheap warehouse feel, and then turn around and charge you out the wahzoo for their stuff. Price Chopper was the first to up their regular price of 2-liter sodas to $1.69 - some stores still aren't there! So now I'm on a quest for a new 'regular' grocery store. I'm not going to lie, for emergencies I'll still run to that Price Chopper - it's less than a mile from my house. But I plan on doing my big shopping trips elsewhere.

On the up side I am now an official Wooter. That's right, I finally took the plunge and Wooted. Woot! Whether I'm happy about it remains to be seen...

I'm also torn between going downstairs and working out on the treadmill at lunch (like I should) or going shopping (including grocery shopping). It's only supposed to be about 30 today, so even frozen food would keep in my trunk. I really should work out, but it makes me so tired. :P It's rather like they show it the movies, an angel duck on one shoulder ("work out, you know you should!") and a devil duck on the other ("go shopping, spend money, feel better!").

I was going to comment that technically it's "w00t"... until I found out there are stores called woot, so I'm assuming you went to the woot store. Unless you mean woot as a euphemism for something else, in that case I don't want to know where or how you wooted or if you end up being happy about it.

Don't mind me, I'm feeling very literal today...

Yeah, that would be woot.com, the deal a day website. The other is more of a Woo-Hoo! (and if you get that reference, you get a cookie)
