I hate you too, universe
Half-way through the day I thought things were getting better, and was planning on writing up a 'comedy of errors' kind of 'oh what a sucky day ha ha' entry, but then things just went downhill again and if I think about it I might just cry, and I really don't want to do that. This too shall pass. But it was funny, since I think it all started because I wasn't wearing the underwear I thought I was. Any day the universe can magically change your underwear is a day it's up to no good. Also, one of you will be getting a post card story inspired by that.
And then it ended with me getting a paper cut as I opened the ungodly high electric bill, the reason (bills) I have to keep (as long as they let me, but let's not go there) my job. That really is salt in the wound.
In the interest of being balanced there were two bright moments in the day, both of them phone calls that made me laugh. Thank you, funny people, for letting me know the whole world isn't made up of complete assholes.
Finally, to end on a high note: cars inspired by the Smart car trend that I might actually buy!
